Little-known fact
My Father was in the Army for 28 years and we moved, A LOT. I would be devastated every time we would relocate, but would quickly move on and find new “best friends forever”. My first night at college I called and told him I was quitting and moving home (NY at the time). His response was quick, “no you’re not, you better figure it out” and he hung up the phone. 8 years later I am STILL in Washington State, and can’t ever imagine leaving my home.
